I got a slew of new books yesterday and among them was LINQ In Action. I am going to be using it for the new site. Look for more on it soon.
Grill away,
GrillerGeek
It snowed again today. That is the story of late February in Ohio. I am getting anxious to get outsite and grill again. We will get there... soon I hope!
Where is that site?
I know you all al wondering when is the Best Grilling Website going to launch? The answer: Soon. I am finishing up the DB structure now and about to start codinig hard-core. I was going to use Subsonic for my DAL. I keep having trouble with it so I scrapped it. I am now going to be testing out and learning LINQ to SQL for this site and will try to take advantage of as many of the perks that .Net 3.5 offers. I will be posting more about my experience as we go on.
Time to take off for now.
Happy Grilling

You may find this page and say, "I have not seen a thing going on with GrillMasters.com in a long time!" Well, there is a good reason for that. We moved to Cincinnati in October and have been renting untill we could find a more permanent place. This also meas both my wife and I have started new jobs. The move and new jobs have kept us busy enough, but we alos decided to build a house. As soon as we get move in, this site will start taking off. I have some prelim designs and have started working on the plumbing of the site. I have decided to try and use the great SubSonic project and I will post more about my experiences with that soon. You can check it out here: SubSonic Toolset
If you are interested in how our house is going, you can check it out here: The Robey House Gallery on PicassaWeb
Here is a slideshow as well:
Take care and get grilling,

Welcome to the GrillMasters.com blog. What is GrillMasters.com you say? We are striving to become the best community and resource on the internet for those whom like to cook on grills. Now grills will be very loosely defined here. Basically if there is a grate/stick/string/pot holding some sort of food over a heat sourece (most often a flame) it will be welcome here. When it comes down to it, I like to cook and I love to cool outside. I want to share my passion with everone and give the rest of the world a place to do the same. More details will follow soon so check back often.
Good Grillin,
GrillerGeek (Jason)
